ABOUT DR SHARON STAY
Dr Sharon Stay
Sharon is a Queensland trained Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Queensland. A love of musculoskeletal medicine drove her towards completing her Masters of Sports Medicine (UQ), which she undertook while working as a General Practitioner. She is a fellow of the Australasian College of Sports and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP).
Sharon currently works with Netball Queensland, as team doctor for the Queensland Firebirds. She works as Match Day Medical Officer for Queensland Rugby Union, covering Reds home games at Suncorp Stadium. She also works with Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket, covering Brisbane Heat BBL and WBBL games and Queensland Fire WNCL games.
